RFID Zip Tie Tags Manufacturer
RFIDEcho manufactures a complete range of RFID zip tie tags — also called RFID cable tie tags — for logistics, utilities, data centre management, and industrial asset tracking. Our product line covers disposable single-use PP ties for high-volume freight sealing, compact ABS cable tie tags for dense server rack infrastructure, and reusable split-nylon and lever-release designs for cycling inventory. For applications where unauthorised removal must be prevented, our security-grade EAS-clasp ties require a dedicated tool to open, while a built-in LED variant enables visual asset location in dense cable environments. Every tag supports your choice of UHF RFID tags or HF RFID tags, factory-encoded to your EPC or NDEF scheme, and printed with serial numbers, barcodes, QR codes, or company branding, with custom strap lengths, body colours, and chip models available across most product lines.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
An RFID zip tie tag is a cable-tie-style fastener with an RFID transponder embedded in the locking head. It attaches to assets, cables, or bundled goods like a standard cable tie, while providing automatic identification readable by handheld or fixed readers at close to long range.
-
Disposable tags use a one-way locking mechanism — once tightened, the strap cannot be removed without cutting, providing tamper evidence. Reusable designs (split nylon or lever-release) allow deliberate, tool-free opening and reattachment, making them cost-effective for assets that are regularly re-tagged, relocated, or serviced.
-
UHF RFID tags (860–960MHz) read at 0.3–8m and suit bulk scanning, portal gates, and warehouse management systems. HF RFID tags (13.56MHz) and NFC tags read at 0–5cm, for individual item confirmation by handheld device or smartphone. Some cable tie tags support both frequencies.
-
Most products support custom chip selection, body colour, strap length (on modular designs), surface printing (laser engraving or silk-screen for barcodes, QR codes, serial numbers, and logos), and factory EPC encoding. Password-locking and custom memory write-protection are also available on selected chips.
-
MOQ starts from 500 pieces for most ABS cable tie models and 1,000 pieces for PP zip tie tags. Mixed-chip or mixed-colour orders are possible from 2,000 pieces with a sub-minimum of 500 pieces per variant.
-
Standard in-stock configurations ship within 3–5 business days. Custom-encoded or custom-printed samples require 5–7 business days. Bulk production runs 15–18 days from order confirmation depending on customisation requirements.
-
Yes. Most products in the range carry IP54 or IP55 ratings, suitable for light outdoor exposure. The PP serrated-grip tie is rated IP65 and suitable for prolonged outdoor use. For harsh outdoor or submersion environments, contact us for a product recommendation based on your specific conditions.
-
The EAS clasp (Reusable EAS RFID Cable Tie Tag) needs a dedicated magnetic tool to open, so unauthorised removal is not possible — active tamper control. The release lever (ABS RFID Cable Tie with Release Lever) opens by pressing a side button, no tools: reusable, but unrestricted.
-
Yes. All RFID zip tie tags in the RFIDEcho range carry RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and CE (Conformité Européenne) certification. Documentation is available on request for import compliance and procurement audits.
